Ducky 14S is an uncompromising racing catamaran. This model is designed for those whose priority is speed and thrill. The “S” suffix in the name of this model is an abbreviation of the word “Sport”, which emphasizes the sporty capability and character of this model.

As a result of a long search and many experiments, it was possible to create a unique design that combines the best qualities of inflatable and solid hull catamarans.  The feelings of operating the Ducky 14S is similar to the ones of running a solid hull catamaran. But, due to the low weight of the catamaran itself, even better dynamics are provided.  A large effective sail and a high-tech form of floats will give high speed and a sense of flying, and two rudders will provide sharp controllability and control in all riding modes.

In a more relaxed mode, you could enjoy Ducky 14S with your friends, but to unleash the full potential of this sports catamaran and really enjoy it, you will always be alone.

The design of this catamaran allows you to assemble it without tools in just 30 minutes, which gives it a real alignment to a sporty and agile lifestyle.

Design

  • FRAME AND TRAMPOLINE - The unique frame design has a mast that stands on the cables! The upper and lower cables form two closed pyramids, which provide maximum rigidity and prevent twisting.  The minimum number of frame elements ensures low weight and quick assembly.  The frame material is lightweight, durable and corrosion resistant aluminum alloy.  All aluminum parts are anodized or powder coated for additional corrosion protection in seawater.  The Trampoline has a unique design and is stretched using ropes and inflatable rollers.  Inflatable trampoline rollers are comfortable for sitting and for catamaran tilt.  Trampoline material is durable PVC net that allows water to pass through and prevents the puddles formation
  • FLOATS - Highly efficient float shape provides minimum resistance and maximum speed.   Sharp stem makes wave travel smooth with minimal spray.  Each float has two sealed sections that provide added safety.  Fast and convenient fastening to the frame with straps.  The floats material is a durable boat PVC fabric with 1000 g/sq.m weighing 
  • CENTERBOARD - Centrally located.  Necessary area, good elongation and profile ensure effective movement of the catamaran against the wind.  It has an automatic system of protection against damage when running aground or into obstacle.  Regulated degree of immersion into water of the centerboard makes it possible to move against the wind even in shallow water.  Сenterboard material is glass composite
  • RUDDER - Two rudders provide control in all running modes.  They have an automatic system of protection against damage when running aground or an obstacle.  Tiller extension allows to more effectively place your weight for balancing of catamaran heeling. Rudder blades material is glass composite
  • MAINSAIL - High elongation, shape and profile ensure high efficiency .  There is no boom, which is important for the safety.  There is a main traveler for an effective sail setting.  Sail material is Dacron or Mylar
  • MAST - Mast has a spreader, which greatly increases its strength.  It is swivel, held in working position by cables and shafts.  Consists of four sections.  The mast float provides protection against a complete overturn
  • ACCESSORIES - Catamarans are equipped with blocks, sheets, stoppers and other parts from leading manufacturers

MAST FLOAT

The mast float is an inflatable tank that prevents the catamaran from turning the mast upside down. The float will keep the catamaran on a "side position" and will facilitate the righting of the catamaran to an even keel, in case of capsizing. It will not allow the mast to sink below the surface and prevents damage. The mast float is streamlined. If necessary, it is easily mounted and dismantled without the use of tools; fixators included.

PARKING COVER

Parking cover protects the catamaran from the sun, rain, dust and dirt. Essential if you're planning to leave your catamaran assembled and exposed to the elements for any period of time.

SAIL NUMBER

The number is made from a self-adhesive dacron. The standard symbol height is 300 mm. The price is calculated on a cost per character basis with or without a sticky back. Drawing of individual logos is also possible depending on the requirement.
